Darlene Dranda is a freelance writer and digital photographer. She wrote a monthly wine column for Recorder Newspapers in northern New Jersey from 2001-2003. Some of the columns can be accessed on Newspapers.com. She studied with the Society of Wine Educators in 2005 while working in wine retail for many years. In 2008 she returned to her hometown in SE Ohio where she wrote feature articles for a community lifestyles magazine until 2014. She holds a B.S. degree in education from The King’s College in New York City. The name of her primary website is WineScoop.com. She is currently working on a book about her life as a writer and the people who helped along the way.
